ATHLETIC TRANSPORTATION POLICY

Student-Athletes will travel to and from ALL athletic events on Team Buses. The purpose of this policy is to assist coaches with their responsibility and liability to the team members under their supervision.
The policy is also in force to encourage team unity and comradeship.
The ONLY exception to this policy is specific family or academic situations.
In order for your student athlete to be released from an event, a note from the parent(s) needs to
be submitted for each situation. All requests must include the date, the name of the student and
the name of the parent to whom the student is to be released. The note will then be signed by either Athletic Director Craig Franzen, Assistant Principal Jarrett Gold, or Principal Dr. Jackie Luzak. It will be returned to the student and then handed to the coach by the Student-Athlete.
Student-Athletes are ONLY released to their own parents and CANNOT be released to other team
members’ parents. Students are NOT allowed to drive to events.
STUDENT CARPOOLING IS NOT PERMITTED.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Dr. Gold or
Athletic Director Franzen at (818) 952-4269.

Thanks,
Craig Franzen, Athletic Director

LCUSD Athletic Hall of Fame for
JORDAN THOMPSON & DEVON BORISOFF

"Since 1995 only three other water polo players have received this honor - Russell Bernstein, Brendan Naeve and Lloyd Mason.   There is a significant thread that binds all 5 of you.
All of you drove the program toward a higher level of competition, and integrity.   All of you went on to play at prestigious Division I schools.  Four of you played in NCAA – Final Four games and of course two of you won NCAA Championships.
But, most important, all of you were the image of "LC Business" that has continued to inspired younger players, even those you never played with or even know you, to strive to achieve your level of excellence.  You truly made, and continue to make a difference."
 - Coach Larry Naeve
